"Grumpy Bear"

Just before Halloween we went to a pumpkin patch with our friends, the Walkers. Nyah and Jacob got to pick their own pumpkins, play in a hay maze and we all went on a hay ride.

Nyah has become quite the little mom. She loves to sit next to me and feed her baby while I feed Quinn.

Oct 21/06- Friends of ours, Jen and Chris Adamson had twin boys a few weeks after Quinn was born. We tucked these guys away to have a nap while at a one-year-old birthday party. Alex is on the left, Quinn in the middle, and Eli is on the right.

Oct 21/06-Nyah's hair is FINALLY long enough to braid! It was a miracle that she sat still long enough for me to do it ( yet another way I use TV to bribe my children!)

My parents came from Edmonton for Thanksgiving this year and brought along their dog, Molly. Nyah just LOVES this dog and made sure Molly had her own doll to play with.

Nyah's way to tell her two sets of grandparents apart is to call my parents "Molly Grandma, and Molly Grandpa."

I debated for awhile as to whether I should post this picture or not.....then I thought "who am I kidding! As if I'm not going to show this at her wedding!"

When I asked Nyah what she was doing, she said "pumping my boobies." After weeks of watching me pump she obviously had a pretty good idea of how this all worked, and even got to the point where she would "dance" to the rhythm of the pump!

Sept 8/06- Nyah has become quite the "naked artist" over the summer and has been known to not only paint on paper, but her entire body, the pavement, and occasionally the side of the house!

Nyah LOVED to help daddy drive the boat! I guess she felt safer driving herself than being pulled behind the boat by someone else!

Nyah was not too sure about tubing this year. She went out with both Ryan and I, and spent the entire ride saying either "slow, slow", or "put Nyah back in boat." Maybe next year......

Nyah and Grandma spent tons of time reading together during our vacation this summer at the Shushwap.

Our friends, Matt and Christina had their little boy, Leo only 5 days before Quinn was born! It's hard to believe they are that close in age! In case you are unsure, Quinn is the scrawy little one on the right! (August 5th- 2 weeks old)

We had a yard-full of parents and little ones on Nyah's birthday! We were lucky to have great weather and have little shade for all the new babies and expectant mommies that were in attendance that day!

We celebrated Nyah's 2nd birthday on August 5th this year with a backyard "pool party" and lots of "Dora" accessories! The cake was created by dad!
